Summer Focus Group Series: Stewardship Coordinators

Have you ever read a job announcement for a Stewardship Coordinator?

The scope of the position reads something like this:

Responsibilities include:  coordinating the land trust's conservation easement stewardship, monitoring, reporting and information systems; cultivating landowner relations and resolving violations; overseeing fee land management, including events, neighbor relationships, and community engagement; organizing volunteer work parties; participating in training opportunities; and creating and maintaining records and maps. PS: This is a volunteer position!

Sound familiar? If you are a land trust stewardship coordinator, then the phrase "doing it all " likely rings loud and clear!
