Join CLCC, the Guilford Land Conservation Trust, state legislators, local officials, and community members in discussing land conservation priorities during an afternoon on the beautiful Westwoods trails.

A trail system decades in the making, Westwoods in Guilford offers over 39 miles of forested hiking trails close to the Connecticut shoreline. The latest addition to the Westwoods property is an example of the success of the Open Space and Watershed Acquisition Grant Program - funded by the Community Investment Act, and of collaboration: Westwods is jointly owned and operated by the town of Guilford, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (for the Cockaponset State Forest section), and the Guilford Land Conservation Trust.

The event is free and open to the public! Bring your questions, your friends, and your walking shoes!
