As She Prepares To Leave Office, Governor Caps Off Her Preservation Efforts With Grants.

Gov. M. Jodi Rell has spent the last few weeks working the car shocks overtime over rutted farm lanes and the grassy humps of state parks on a farewell tour, dispensing almost $25 million in farmland preservation funds and open space grants.

On Jan. 5, when M. Jodi Rell leaves the Capitol in Hartford for the last time as governor, someone had  better go outside and check the shock absorbers on the governor's Lincoln Town Car.
