Fourth Round of CT Land Trust Challenge Fund Announced

Proposals due June 24, 2011.

The Land Trust Alliance and the Connecticut Land Conservation Council are pleased to announce the Request for Proposals for the fourth round of the Connecticut Land Trust Challenge Fund.

The Challenge Fund provides consultant services to build the strength and effectiveness of land trusts in Connecticut and can help land trusts implement Land Trust Standards and Practices.

The consultant-led services granted to land trusts may be applied toward a spectrum of needs, including, but not limited to, strategic planning, stewardship practices (baselines and monitoring), building fundraising skills, developing needed policies, or advancing community outreach.

Connecticut land trusts that are members of the Land Trust Alliance and the Connecticut Land Conservation Council and that meet all other eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply. Awards of up to $10,000 in consultant support are available to land trusts.
